It was former McHenry County Board member Nick Provenzano who advanced the suggestion that PACE supplement its dial-a-ride bus service with Uber.
He limited his idea to times when no PACE service was availalble.
That seemed too limited to me at the time.
Too many Dial-a-Ride buses were used for one person or family.
Now, the new head of PACE says he is willing to look at Uber.
